For me, minimalist style is simplicity and using a limited amount of clothing choices to create easy, put-together, effortless looks. It is not necessarily a color pattern, but a way of life.

1.       What is minimalist style to you?
For me, minimalist style is simplicity and using a limited amount of clothing choices to create easy, put-together, effortless looks. It is not necessarily a color pattern, but a way of life.

2.       How would you describe your blog?
My blog is a girl’s guide to life. I know, that sounds extremely grandiose, but it’s an authentic take on a young woman’s point-of-view of the world she lives in and how she can offer advice to others who may be going through the same thing. Whether it’s fashion advice for more streamlined fashion choices, a look at places to travel or a guide to surviving/visiting New York City, it is a space where one can go and explore and hopefully it incites you to find the best way to better your life.

3.       How long have you been blogging and how would you describe your journey as a minimalist blogger?
I have been blogging for two years now and I didn’t start off as a minimalist blogger. In a lot of ways I still don’t consider myself a “minimalist blogger,” but as I continued my journey my clothing choices and wardrobe curation shifted towards that realm which I think my blog reflects.

4.       What brands or designers inspire your minimalist style?
Calvin Klein, Everlane, Rag & Bone to name some. Labels don’t matter too much to me, I like what I like and I like versatile pieces.

5.       What shopping tips would you give to someone to have a great minimal wardrobe ?
Quality over quantity every time. It’s better to splurge a little more on a really great bag, coat or whatever that will go with everything that buying pieces that will fade or die out once a trend is gone. I would also stay stick to pieces that are great for blending in. What I love about minimalist is not specific pieces of an outfit but the finished effect. When looking at a minimalist blogger you don’t see that one cute sweater or that one statement bag; you see the whole picture: polished, sophisticated, effortless.

6.       What makes you unique as a minimalist blogger and style influencer?
There will never be another person who has the same exact experience that I do as there will never be another person who has the same exact experience as someone else. For me, minimalist style is simplicity and using a limited amount of clothing choices to create easy, put-together, effortless looks.
